What it does

FYI-CLI is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides a comprehensive Freedom of Information (FOI) / Official Information request tracker for multiple Alaveteli platforms including FYI.org.nz, WhatDoTheyKnow, RightToKnow, and others. It enables users to manage FOIA requests across different jurisdictions from a single interface with local SQLite database storage.

How to set up

Install the tool via CLI using the provided package manager or clone from the GitHub repository. Configure your local SQLite database and connect it to your Alaveteli platform accounts. The tool supports offline sync, allowing you to work without internet connection and synchronize changes when reconnected.
